There at least 2 times a month. I’ve been a fan of the pub for about 2 years now since I moved to the area. Anytime family from out of town is visiting, we stop by here for dinner. The food is great, the beer is excellent and most of the staff is awesome.1 staff member in particular (referenced again and again in other reviews) needs to be let go before I go back. I’ve never seen such a rude person at an establishment where I am paying and tipping to get service. She was sarcastic and condescending to my father when he was visiting. She had been rude to us before this as well and again very recently when I was at the bar and she refused to look my way and help even when I said Hi from less than 1m away, directly in front of her. The other lady was super nice and came over to help. You could tell she was embarrassed by her co-workers attitude. The last thing is the septic smell in the parking lot and when the wind is just right, all over the patio.
Rude waitress!!
Fantastic Well crafted beer !!! 8 choices to chose from. Also have a other brands of styles of beer they don’t brew them selves. Large menu with tones of great options to choose from. Definitely suggest making a reservation to guarantee a spot. Loved it!!!
Good beer!. Went for the first time Sunday afternoon. It was very noisy and busy. Lots of folk having an afternoon pint watching the band. Good thing we made reservations or we never would have gotten a table. We were 15 mins early and I think we met the grumpy waitress I have read about. I let her know that we were a little early and we had a reservation for 6 people. She basically laughed at me and said good luck….not helpful in the least. I then spoke with the bartender after ordering a beer. She was very pleasant and accommodating. She also allowed us to sample a few of the beers while we waited…. VERY good I must say. We also got our table at the reserved time. Two of us ordered the chicken curry. We both agreed that it was not good at all…. definite room for improvement! It was basically chicken and potatoes with a mild curry sauce over rice. Another had the steak and mushroom pie and raved about it.We bought one large growler of the amber and a small cream ale. We are big craft beer lovers and I have to say that the ABC Amber is my new favorite! All in all it was a good experience and we will go back if anything to have a beer and return the growlers.
Terrific food. Went for a Friday night supper without reservations and got in just before the rush. If you want primetime seating definitely call ahead. The beers were great along with the food. Service was excellent also, attentive without being overwhelming. Will certainly go back!
Great food, Great beer. I have been several time for luch or dinner and even on sunday afternoon for open stage. Great prices, Fresh food and cozy atmoshere.. I must agree on the waitress with the last couple comments. Owners are great ppl, very friendly and helpfull. Dont let the waitress ruin this experiance the food, the beer and the ambiance will exceed your expectation. Lets hope for some changes in the customer service area. Cheers
I have experienced the same cranky waitress as the other person mentioned. I can’t believe she is still employed there. The waitress should be ashamed if herself.
