Best caribbean food in otown, buffet on saturdays is a must for all you people out there who are looking to order some authentic caribbean food. This place is the one to go too. Owner is friendly and fast. And food is 10/10 espically the roti. So come and try its worth every dollar.
Delish. I visited tropical Heat last Friday for supper with a friends and we were all pleasantly surprised. True caribbean vibe waking in, music nice and low, the food was hot and delicious (nice to get some GT food, its great to have options. Love the Saturday evening buffet. The buffet at Tropical Heat last Saturday was a lively event with delectable food. Tropical Heat has a casual Caribbean feel with colourful artwork and a mellow mix of Reggae music. Customers could choose from a generous selection of meat (beef, chicken, goat) curries, vegetable curries, rice, salad and roti. The curries boast a mouth-watering fusion of Indian and Hispanic spices and flavours. We left this Saturdays buffet with full bellies and a warm sense of community togetherness from the roughly twenty fellow diners. Tropical Heat is a must for anyone who wants a taste of authentic Caribbean food and culture.
Straight up, real Carribean flavours. This place is great. Very low key, with solid portions of food. Had the goat curry wrapped in roti. The roti was PACKED with goat and potatoes. Curry had enough gravy to soak in the roti. The home made hot sauce definitely has some kick, but be careful though if you’re not aware of the power of a scotch bonnet pepper.Will return, and you should too!
