We have been going to Roland’s for many years, we love the variety. My son worked there as a waiter more years ago than I care to remember. Our parties have been from 8 to 20 people. All enjoyed their choices. I especially like the Pickerel and escargot. We shall celebrate our 50th anniversary on the 1st February with our friends and family.Thank You for keeping up the quality of food and service.
Definite Winner. Our party of nine had dinner at Rolands and were impressed. As you might expect from a crowd of that size, we had an opportunity to try the steaks, seafoods and a broad range of other sides and mains. Everything our party tried was a least very good, and the service was well organized, attentive, and never missed a cue. The decor is understated and comfortable, and the floorspace is divided into several rooms, with diners widely spread among them, so the noise volume would be low even when crowded. While Roland’s is not a good choice for those on a budget, it cost no more than the same meal would have at The Keg or other chain Steakhouses, and the food, service and ambiance were better. Special mention should go to the wine list, which carried a well-considered selection, and was very reasonably priced. Note that Rolands is NOT on Keene Road, as some websites state. The 845 Hwy 7 address is the correct one. Coming out of Peterborough heading east, stay on the highway and Roland’s is on the right.
