this is by far the best sushi in peterborough, love it! just a few comments to add to the description above, they accept cash, debit, and credit. if you pay cash at lunch you can collect stamps towards a free lunch time meal. They are open till 10pm. The staff here has always been super friendly, and they offer a student discount with valid student card!
Best sushi in Peterborough! Service has gone down hill since opening but quality of food has stayed the same. Great variety, highly recommend any sashimi, dynamite roll and steak teriyaki.
Thank god we have this in Peterborough. The quality for the all you can eat sushi is about a medium in Toronto standards but it’s the best we got here! One thing that’s great about this place is that the lunch special price also applies on weekends.
Food ok, service poor. Because its part of a chain or restaurants, their menu is pretty solid. When you get your food, it tastes great. The problem is the staff rarely attentive. 1/4 times we had a good server who cleared the table, refilled drinks and interacted with us. The rest of the visits, we were ignored, food was slow to reach our table and ordering more was difficult. The service is not worth the food as there are other locations that have just as good food and much better service.
Simply Wonderful. My sister and I both enjoy going out for sushi. Upon entering I was amazed, it’s not much to look at outside but the inside was stunning. Our servers were quick and sweet, my teacup never emptied and the food was great. Will be returning for sure.
Solid. Not the fastest or most pleasant service, but if you only care about the food, definitely stop by. 20 dollars a person for all you can is a deal, especially if you’re hungry. Went with a group of friends. I’m not big on sushi, so I had their other menu items like veggie tempura, calamari, and gyoza (which I recommend). Would go back, but I want to try some other Japanese places in Peterborough first.
Bad Service. Aji Sai used to be my favourite sushi place so one day I went there for lunch with my husband and my son. My husband and I had the all you can eat lunch and my son had the teriyaki bento box. My son being curious wanted to try the shrimp tempura that came to the table and as soon as I put it on his plate our server came over and scolded us. We said ok, we wouldn’t do it again, but seeing as how it was already on his plate we thought it was ok just this once for him to eat it……and sure enough as soon as he took a bite, our server was at our table scolding us again saying they were going to charge us extra for it, which they did. My poor child thought he had done something wrong…..I mean, he was a child for crying out loud, he wanted to try something new that he’d never had before. It makes me very uncomfortable knowing that somebody is watching me that closely as I eat. I’ve NEVER been back because of that day. The food is always great, although we don’t always get everything we order which is frustrating. I used to always take a picture with my phone of what I’ve ordered just so that I could keep track. Its a shame that the service is not the greatest, because the food is very good.
