Good restaurant for celebrations and for a quiet dinner. Their open air dining in the summer is great, one of my favourite spots. Their rotating wine list never disappoints. Past favourites of mine have been the duck confit, lamb, and perch tacos. I also recently tried the salmon croquettes appetizer and it was small but so yummy, the mango chutney was a great addition!
Inside the restaurant is dark wood and dim lighting. Sitting by the open window at the front provided some much needed natural light. Service was good, waiter could have been more attentive; it was a hot evening and yet we still had to ask for water refills. Food was very tasty and good sized portions for the price; Salmon Croquettes, Chipotle Chicken Caesar Salad, Maple & Soy Glazed Salmon
POOR EXPERIENCE. Arrived at 5:30 without a reservation, We asked to sit near the patio as it was much brighter. Were told with no reservation we would have to have a dark booth farther back. We understood as we had not phoned ahead.We were able to hear diners as they arrived. Two couples without reservations, one 15 min & another 30 min after us asked to be seated where we had requested & were seated near the patio. Although our dinner + wine at $100 was good,Thanks to the chef, the fact that we felt we were discriminated on our seating spoiled what could have been an enjoyable meal. Would not recommend this restaurant, hope the management corrects this problem.
