I haven’t been to the Peterborough location, but to the Bowmanville one. I love the food here. The spring rolls are great and the noodle dishes are sooo good. I’ve had bites of friends’ orders and everything I tasted was wonderful. It is now called Bowmanville Thai there. I don’t know if it’s a change in ownership or just in name.
Delicious. Loved the coconut soup, yellow chicken curry and shrimp pad thai. Fresh and delicious.
Meh. Just moved from Toronto to Peterborough and LOVE Thai food. I read some reviews and thought it looked good. The restaurant looked nice so I thought why not? No. The food was bland and way too hot. Not worth the price.
We first tried Sammy’s food in Port Hope. She has won awards for her food. We’re really thrilled she’s now in Peterborough, we can keep it local. Her salad rolls and coconut soup excellent!!Her food over all 10/10. You won’t be disappointed!!Andrea Ross
Fantastic, wonderful, perfect.. Bulai in Port Hope has been a long-time favourite of ours, and we’re so happy they have come to Peterborough. The freshness, selection, authenticity, and pricing are all outstanding. This is seriously one gem of a restaurant! And then add in the decor (Thai-rific) and the service and it’s a perfect place to eat.

Best Thai food in Ontario. The food at Bualai is amazing, authentic dishes with amazing flavour. I have eaten Thai everywhere and this is the real deal. The prices are exceptional and Sammy (the owner) is amazing.
