Charlotte Anne’s used to be one of my favourite go to restaurants in Peterborough. I stopped going after Charlotte and her husband sold the restaurant because the service and quality of food really declined. I decided to give it another try a few weeks ago after a hiatus of at least a few years. I was pleasantly surprised we had lunch on their beautiful patio, a quiet natural escape right downtown. I had my usual go to, from when I used to go quite regularly, chicken fingers half and half (fries and caeser salad) with their amazing honey garlic sauce for dipping. It was as good as I had originally remembered. Chicken fingers may seem slightly childish but believe me these are some of the best I have ever had. My companion had their corned beef sandwich half and half as well it was very heavy on the mustard but other then that pretty good. I will be back.
