I have come here a handful of times for Chinese take out. The food is usually decent but nothing spectacular as it goes with most take out Chinese places. On one occasion our food must have come in contact with seafood and one of the parties that we ate with who has a seafood allergy did have a reaction, nothing too serious, Benadryl did the trick. Make sure to be very clear about allergies for individuals you are eating with, just in case. I usually recommend other places to anyone who asks but this place is ok too.
Nay, Nay, Nay. Just dreadful chinese food. Ordered rice, stir fried veggies and lo mein – hard to believe that you could go so wrong with those choices. At just under $30 that was a student’s food budget for the week. New to Peterborough – buyer beware. Buy fruit, order a pizza , just don’t waste your money on this fare.
Always fresh and always lots of leftovers. 🙂
WORST CHINESE FOOD EVER. Coming from an Asian background who was born in Hong Kong and have lived in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, I have had my experiences with good and bad chinese food. I have also lived in small cities such as Sarnia, Chatham and Oshawa. However, throughout my travels in Canada, I have not experienced such disgusting Chinese food in my life. The noodles were so over cooked that it melted in my mouth, the beef was overcooked so it felt like eating toys and after eating the meal, I was left with this old oil taste in my mouth. I do not ever wish anyone to have to experience wasting their money and soul on eating here.
Since our old favorite Chinese place closed we’ve been looking for a new one. This is our new fav. Food was really good. Chicken fried rice doesn’t have much flavor though. To previous reviewer who hadn’t received food but felt compelled to review customer service: good to know, but useless without food review.
