Good times. My girl friends and i come here regularly after work for drinks and food and we always have a great time. The servers know are names and what we like and the booths are so comfy. My fav dish is the warm salad with chicken skewers and a peach Martini. Best local down town pub in Peterborough, cheers, C
Great all around.. besides supervisor. The place is great, the food is good, beer is an ok selection, not really nice beers for a high end place, but very Peterborough like. My friends and i sat near the back, and had the unfortunate opportunity of hearing how this male supervisor yelled at his kitchen staff. It was pretty ruff, either way. nice food wont go back if i hear language like that towards workers.
Awful service. I went to Gerti’s with a few friends and had the worst waitress ever, which was really too bad since the place was cool inside temperature and decor and the food was awesome. However our server ruined the entire experience. She was extremely rude and was in no way helpful.We allI felt as if she was looking down her nose at us and it made everyone at the table feel unwelcome and that we shouldve left. When it came time for our bill, we had to hail her over since she was too busy standing around and talking to her colleagues. Her name was Jess or Jade or something with a J and I will never go there again, I couldnt believe the attitude in her voice or the way she spoke when she did lower herself down from heaven to talk to our table.Worst server!!

Nice atmosphere but food is sub-par at best. Had a fly in my gnocchi once :/
Green poo. I ate at this place the first week it opened in 2005 and have only eaten there once more since then. Had the pesto chicken, which was great but was clearly undercooked because I was pooping green, green, green 30 minutes later…non-stop. Tried their lunch once after that and it was bland. Wouldn’t eat there again and heard only stories about other things there.
Meatloaf. I thought I liked the Chicken Carbonara…then I had the meatloaf…which is wrapped in bacon and then if that was not enough…no they didn’t …yes they did ..they soaked it in gravy, so good!
