EXCELLENT. My wife and I have driven by this place for years but always passed it up. We decided to finally try it tonight and it was fantastic. Lots of vegetarian options (roti, samosas, rice and beans, doubles, etc.) and everything we tried was perfectly spiced and tasted homemade. Definitely my new #1 favourite restaurant in Peterborough – so much better than all the overpriced Thai or crap burrito joints downtown. I will be plopping my fat ass back in their mismatched chairs many more times, we can’t wait to go back.

Spicy good!. Fresh ingredients, prepared while you dine. Large portions, so come with an appetite. We shared two orders and still had leftovers to take home. If you’re looking for spice, esp. curry this is your place. Two thumbs up! Truly Caribbean inspired flavours.
Unreal Roti! Every type of roti here is sooooo good.03 Aug, 2012ROTI. Their Veggie and goat Rotis are UNREALLLL! It’s sooo good, a large portion, andd cheap! Sure the restaurant looks a little grubby but if you can get past that you’ll be in for a treat! I will definitely be back! 🙂
Best Roti in Canada by far. I went to Trent university (class 2007) and have since moved back to Toronto – there is a large selection of Caribean food in different pockets of T.O., but not much compare to this tiny cute Peterborough classic establishment. Funny to note, the one bad review this got, was from a guy who put Denny’s as one of his restaurants under what he likes. Friendly tip #15 – know your audience and author!!!
Excellent food and the woman that prepared and served it was very friendly. The place is small and doesn’t look like much from the outside but it was a pleasant surprise.
YUM. Hole in the wall that it is… The food cannot be beat. The Samosas are TOP notch, seasoning, potatoes, dough, perfection. The veggie roti is a pocket full of love, yummy channa curry, calaloo & yam, SO good. I will sit on their beat up chairs any day.
