Halibut fish is not cheap but it’s worth it when you go to this restaurant . Very tasty and not real greasy as some, almost perfect! Not as busy as in the past trips to this place.IF I was to want fish and chips this would be the place of choice.Purveys has been around for years and is always a great choice.

I eat here often for convenience. Halibut can vary from visit to visit. Sometimes it is good, other times it’s a greasy, thin cut which isn’t as meaty or flaky as halibut should be. Fries are always good, coleslaw is very creamy.Downside is the kitchen could really use a good clean, and the dining room smells like old people as it is frequented by the blue hair crowd. Sorry to be rude, but the clashing of many different overpowering perfumes, that Church musty smell, the old people smell, take away from the food.With the good and bad, I’ll say again I do eat there often. Quick service, acceptable to good food at a reasonable price.
