I have found the restaurant to be perfect. Great variety of food, atmosphere is warm and inviting, staff is very friendly and its so clean. I have been there for a wedding reception, a few birthdays and a few just because. Each time l have had something different and have yet to be disappointed. I have been known to be very picky about my food and Kettle Drum has delivered. Keep up the great work and if you get a chance to try the chocolate gelato…………its a must!

Will be back ASAP!. Nice place for a date night. Looove the homemade root beer. Seriously, it’s delicious. We started with the newcastle rarebit appetizer. I’d eat that everyday if I could. It’s a beer/cheese/bacon dip with breadsticks. I had the blue bison burger which I really enjoyed with sweet potato chips. The chips came with a dill sauce which was different and yummy. The service was timely and pretty average. It is one restaurant where the food might be somewhat more expensive than other similar places in Peterborough, but I feel like this reflects the higher quality.
Not worth it. Don’t order the pasta. You can make it better at home. This place wants to be more than it is.
Great Restaurant – Jan. 2014. We were short of time for our dinner. We were accommodated and served a delicious dinner. I ordered the Sambuca Salmon with gluten-free penne. What a treat! Great service and delicious food. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu at a leisurely pace.
I was visiting a friend in Peterborough on Saturday and the great looking patio at Kettle Drums attracted us. We were both pleased to find our favourite beers on tap (Cracked Canoe & 1664). Our server was honest, friendly and efficient. There were so many delicious offerings on the menu that I had a hard time choosing. I ended up ordering bruschetta for an app. It was warm, crispy and tasty. For my main I ordered the whiskey pork medallions. The pork was juicy and the maple bourbon glaze was amazing. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the presentation was fantastic. Whoever is cooking there really takes pride in their work.I will be highly recommending this restaurant to everyone I know. Hands down best food and service I have had in years!
Becoming a Favourite. I’ve now had a couple lunches and a couple dinners and have been very happy with each visit. Lots of choice, and so much flavour. The specials are amazing – compliments to the culinerary team and the service staff that have been outstanding. Already looking forward to next visit.
