Unfortunately I felt the need to modify my review of Kettle Drums. After my first (successful) visit to the restaurant, we decided to go back because we were so impressed. This visit was not so. Upon arriving, we were seated and given menus after a table that arrived after us. Their orders were taken before ours. We waited an hour for two dishes to be made. We watched as many people that had come in after us ate and we’re leaving, but we still waited. Finally, our food arrived (after us already stating that we were on a time crunch) and there was no apology from the manager that brought it over. Our lamb burger was delicious and that’s not the problem, my mothers veggie burger (which they had to make from scratch and it was as thin as paper) was quite mediocre. We asked for the bill and to our dismay we still had no apology and no adjustment to the bill. My mom has been in the service industry for years and was no impressed so she asked if we could have a reduction in the price. There was half of one meal taken off, better than nothing! What an ordeal. I probably will not go back, we were not treated well and the manager was very unprofessional!
