What’s not to like?. 20+ beers on tap with occasional changes made to switch up the selection offered. Great atmosphere, very competent and friendly staff. Serves regular bar food for the most part. I’ve had deep fried pickles, nachos, and mozza sticks which were all great. Definitely stop by.

Dont listen to same day reviews. This place is great, good food with a new menu and its not packed like it used to be, but its getting better and no place is packed like it used to me…. reviews on same day as made and account is the type of people who get kicked out because they are loser drunk at one in the afternoon and got refused service…. this place is great, i hate reading those types of reviews. check out the beer, and check out trivia and cheap wing days…. mondays and weds…. or maybe sundays and weds.. either way dont listen to the last guy. its good pub food and i have been here for last six years, no one is named mark in the kitchen…. so give it up champ
Do not eat here. While McThirsty’s has a fine selection of beers, you are advised to eat elsewhere. There are many other Peterborough restaurants offering edible food – this is not one of them. What used to be a busy location for lunch on Fridays has become a desolate, empty site, no doubt due to the fact that the cook is simply incompetent and unable to heat the frozen, food-truck based menu to a safe, bacteriologically inert temperature. Eat here at your own risk. You were warned. I’ve been an on-and-off customer for 14 years, Mark was the only cook capable of serving edible food here, and he’s long gone. If you’re just looking for a drink, no problem, otherwise, eat elsewhere. Seriously.

New and Improved. News owners have taken over and though the atmosphere is the same (just a litte cleaner and tidier), the beer selection has gotten much MUCH better. I didn’t count them, but there must be over 20 taps with a variety ranging from the regulars, some local small brews, to hard to find excellent european. Menu has also been simplified and improved with a focus on apps/snacks and sandwiches/burgers.Now open Sundays too.
