None They All Are Overcooked. Dry and tasteless.24 Sep, 2014Terrible Food. I wasted $13.00 on a burger, fries and iced tea. The burger was overcooked, dry and tasteless and the fries were stale. The best part of the meal was the iced tea as it actually was the only part of the meal that actually had flavour to it. I should have gone to the Tim Horton’s right next door.
GREAT BURGER, but……. The air is so greasy in there! I walked out smelling like a cheese burger lol~ oh well, great great burger!
Not worth the effort!!. Took a day trip with 3 adults and 4 teenagers to eat here! All of the burgers were overcooked, the 2 kid size ones were so overdone they were inedible, the fries were mediocre, the onion rings were bland and most of the batter just fell off and was sitting in the bottom of the basket. YOU DONT GOTTA EAT HERE!
The food is great. I dont know where people are getting the idea the burgers are frozen.
Don’t Eat Here: you’ll thank me for this advice. SERVICEVery, very poor service. I waited for 30 minutes (their ordering board board boasts 10 minute wait times). The cashier did not bother to let me know that they were running behind schedule (and to be honest, it didn’t look any busier than usual in there). When I told the cashier about this (KINDLY, mind you, I was in no way rude when I told her) I was then told that they’d been busy all day (not my problem: if you’re so busy that your order time is going to run 3x longer than usual, just let your customers know when they’re ordering their food so we’re not waiting around wondering whether you’ve lost the order or not). I tried to let them know about this in-person and by phone but there was no manager on duty for me to tell them at the restaurant and the Reggie’s phone number had no voice mail (perhaps because the volume of complaint-based messages may take over the machine?). FOODBurger was undercooked (I’m not talking TRACES of pink, I’m talking LOADS of pink). Burger was also messy to the point where I couldn’t pick up the burger from any side without getting sauce everywhere (keep in mind that I did not ask for extra sauce or anything). Fries were a much tinier portion than usual. If you’re in the neighbourhood, skip Reggie’s and opt for Carpe Diem (on Armour road) next time (the service is much better, the food is much tastier and much faster). Reggie’s is staffed with a bunch of teens who don’t care about the food they produce or whether the people who are paying for that food are happy. I don’t know what’s happened to Reggie’s: I liked them more when they had the old chip stand at Trent University, back when they cared about high quality food and maintaining their customers.
Mmmmm. Had the Blue Bayou burger here twice with sweet potato fries. Lots of yum. One of the best burgers in Peterborough. Plus, they’re homemade and not frozen, and you can definitely tell!
Not good. Burgers are very dry and lacking flavor. Restaurant full of flies as front door left open. Onion rings are amazing though.
