I have been to this little bistro three times now and I consider it to be one of Peterborough’s more hidden gems. Situated on Charlotte Street, it boasts an impressive selection of daily fresh made soups and breads.Two of the three times I went I was blown away by the quality and home-style feel of their wonderful soups and fantastic beer bread. However, there is the odd occasion where they fail to deliver. The last time I went I ordered a jerk chicken soup that didn’t taste at all like jerk, as well as being loaded with sweet potato and corn, making it almost disturbingly sweet.This one negative experience aside, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick and delicious bite to eat.
