Poor review. We ordered one burrito with only onions, sour cream, and extra cheese. Then I asked for two fully loaded burritos with no onions and extra cheese and two orders of mozza sticks. We got one mozza sticks and my burritos had onions and my wife’s had everything. When I called Tracy he told me I was a liar and he would do nothing for me. Thanks for the great service, don’t worry we ordered elsewhere tonight. Hope you get your hydro situation figured out, failure. Very poor review after twenty years of service. Thanks for the price hike cheap!
Best Panzerottis Ever!!!. We ordered a panzerotti for 1 and a panzerotti for 2 (there is also one called the Monster, that’s feeds 4!) They each include 6 ingredients sauce and actual, real, honest to goodness cheese!! They come deep fried, then baked with MORE sauce and cheese on top! They were huge (The panzerotti for 2 fed 2 of us for 2 meals!)! Delicious! And extremely well priced! The service was quick, courteous and very welcoming! Thank you Southside! See you soon!!
Worst ever. Ordered two poutine for supper it took 45 minutes, buts thats okay.What wasnt was the delivery guy could not get the debit machine working, waited 20 minutes for him to try. After waiting i told him i would come by the store and pay. It was the worst fries ever we think they were still frozen.The next day we went into pay and they wanted $25.00. I asked why so much and they said cause of the deivery. Was not happy. Not sure how this place is still in business.while paying i watched the cook in the back pick his nose while cooking.DO NOT EAT HERE
Sunday Brunch – don’t bother. Thought we would try Southside Pizzeria for brunch, couldn’t have worse service than Mark’s Finer diner right? Wrong. Showed up at 11:45am for brunch that runs until 1. Only one other table in there, should have been our first clue. You want the buffet? Oh, you will have to wait while we make more stuff. Ran out of eggs before our last person went up, then didn’t bother to make more because the owner sat down with the other table to chat. When we went up for a bit more, oh you want eggs? You will have to wait while we make more. Asked for more coffee, server looked surprised. Will be a few minutes, have to make more…..Food was mediocre at best, service basically non existent. 2 tables, 2 servers, kind of expected decent service. Heard the pizza was good here, but skeptical about trying it.
Worst pizza place ever!!. I purchased a year of pizza from a radio station auction for over $130. The money went to a charity. When I attempted to use the coupon the owner was rude and I was afraid he would spit in our pizza. We tried to order different toppings on 1/2 of the pizza and we were told that because it was a free pizza we could not. We were trying to get no cheese and 1 topping different. It should have been no big deal. I am very disappointed. The pizza coupon was NOT free and cost me $130. They should not do the donation of the coupon unless they plan on fulfilling it. Crabby owner with a decent tasting pizza will equal failure.
Terrible. Went for a take out meal on Saturday June 29 at approximately 10:30 pm. Ordered a large Greek salad, two orders of battered mushrooms….a chocolate milk and an order of Garlic bread with cheese. The salad was a heap of mushy lettuce onions tomatoes feta and CANNED sliced black olives. Not a crispy bite or kalamata in the whole salad. A soggy dripping mess. The garlic bread was not browned in the least….the mushrooms were watery and the batter was mush. The chocolate milk was perfection in a carton.
My husband and I enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere at Southside. The owner is a jolly fellow who remembers us both and always has a wise commentfor us when we enter. The pizza is by the best in Peterborough and the all day breakfast is delicious. If you haven’t eaten here yet I highly recommend you go now!
