St. Veronus is definitely one of my favourite Peterborough restaurants. A tad pricey but definitely worth it for an unforgettable night on the town. The ambience is wonderfully low key and the food is delicious.
This place is great. Plenty of comfort food and lots of beer on tap and by the bottle to choose from. I was here most recently about a week ago with a friend for dinner. The menu has recently changed, with a few new additions. In the past I was likely to get the quiche which was always consistent and satisfying. I have come in the past for oysters on Thursday which are great as there aren’t many places that serve them in Peterborough. The mussels and frites are also usually a good choice. This past visit I had the new schnitzel on the menu it was delicious. The coleslaw on top was amazing and as usual the stoemp is a great comforting side. My friend had one of the new sandwiches on the menu ham with cheese and topped with bchamel sauce. She quite enjoyed it. I Will continue to come back for the great service and the great food and beer selection.
Absolutely delicious meal. I had an incredible mixed seafood dish that I can’t remember the name of. All I remember is how much seafood they gave me and the beautiful flavor of the sauce. This is an expensive restaurant that’s worth every penny
