I like to visit the local shops on my break, and always try to randomize it and keep it new. So the other day I was at food forest for a smoothie and While waiting at the cash, I couldnt stop pepping into the kitchen, and What I saw utterly disgust me. One of the female staff was cutting the lettuce and SNEEZED ON IT AND KEPT CUTTING WHAT THE F NOT ONLY THAT BUT I COULDNT STOP NOTICING HOW NONE OF THE STAFF USE GLOVES WHAAT THE ACTUAL F$$$. For a vegetarian restaurant this place is unsanitary. Doesnt help that the kitchen door is vacant so you can see them at work.

For me it is important knowing the kinds of people that own an establishment and unfortunately this business is not run with any professionalism.
Glad to have this restaurant in Peterborough! I highly recommend the living taco salad it is my favourite! I have also had the bean burger and zucchini noodle pad Thai all were great. Love the fresh juices and the selection of kombucha.
Simply Amazing!!. I have eaten at this caf on several occasions and have only one word to describe the food, service and knowledge the staff have of the product they serve and that is AMAZING!I have eaten at other self proclaimed vegetarian/gluten free eateries such as the one a reviewer referred to as out of this world (in Peterborough) and I must say their food is sickening with gluten, salt and many other unhealthy products to make it palatable. If you are a carnivore, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free raw diet individual then you must eat where you know the food is organic healthy and AMAZING. The Food Forest, you will not be disappointed.
Great food! Good price. Cool atmosphere.. Try the bean and chickpea burger. Awesome, and so filling! Great job!
Okay. Found it rather expensive – $60 + for lunch for 2 is rather steep-
Tastes Great. This Vegan and Raw small comfortable restaurant in Peterborough has a very nice relaxed atmosphere. And then there’s the food – everything we had was just delicious.From smoothies, to salad, to the yummy soup, to the BBQ chickpea burger and finally the desert it was all very tasty and healthy.When in the Pete, it’s a worthwhile stop for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers too. This will make you think twice about vegan food!
