Do NOT go there! Food us wayyyyy over-priced. Portions very small. It you are and adult or teeneager do NOT go there! U will feel leaving Verry disappointed. Friendly staff..but take Tty our money elsewhere.
Expensive and Over Done. Disappointing meal with my family of 4 in their restaurant on a recent Friday at 6pm.All of us had their halibut and chips.All 4 servings were badly overdone, dried out and batter was crumbly.Fries unmemorable, portions were small.Most expensive fish and chips in Pickering and definitely not worth it.
Best Place Ever!. I grew up going to Jasper’s. I love their fish. They have the best halibut ever! Huge portions, and great fries too! I have so many great memories! Highly recommend it!

We moved from pickering in 1990.We still make the drive to Pickering for the exceptional quality at Jasper.A very large piece of fish cooked to perfection and a generous serving of chips.growing up my family had fish and chips every friday and I have never had better.add to your meal the best mushy peas you’ll ever eat and you have a meal to die for!

Best fish and chips in the area. When I first moved to Pickering I went to all the fish and chip restaurants in the area. Without doubt, Jasper’s is the best. The fish is lightly battered and wonderfully crispy. I found the portion size to be more than adequate, and good value for money (I have no idea why someone would expect to get enough food for 2 people for $10). The chips are tasty–not as crispy as one might hope, but a strong compliment to the fish, and excellent with a good dousing of malt vinegar. The one disappointment is the coleslaw, which is vile. But for me Fish and Chip restaurants are all about the fish, and so Jasper’s is definitely my pick in the area.
