Supper yummy, Supper friendly, supper value.
Delificous Fish and Chips!. The fish was thick and lightly battered and the chips were crunchy! Made efficiciently and tasted great.
Very good, lightly batter and crispy. Best fish and chips I had ever had. The batter was so thin and not greasy at all.Chips were crispy and sweet. One chips was good enough for two people. They also had cod fish. I will try next time. The only thing I didn’t like was their mushy peas.
Decent fish and chips, less good than Jasper’s. I visited Malt and Salt Fish and Chips for lunch, and ordered the halibut and chips. The fish was very well cooked (nice crispy batter, moist fish), but it was a very small piece. Even though I was there for lunch I was paying prices off the general menu, not paying a lunch special price, so for the amount I paid it seemed a bit puny. The chips were nice and crispy, but kind of flavourless. I think they may have been frozen and/or not salted right out of the frier. Good solid fish and chips, but I liked Jasper’s better. Fish 8/10, chips 7/10.
Usually go to Jaspers which was unexpectedly closed. First time here and will return. The helpings were slighly smaller than Jaspers but the quality was good. The price was also slightly less as well.
Best fish & chips I ever had. The halibut is the best, as well as the shrimp and scallops.
