Good local pub. Friendly staff and I think the owners are trying hard because the menu is vast. We’ve always found the place quite busy with regulars and other patrons who seem to be enjoying themselves.
Don’t bother unless you’re just drinking. Food was horrible. The only thing edible was the fries on the kids meal. Not family friendly. Fish tacos were a joke, a fish stick in a tortilla with tomatoes and lettuce. A total letdown. Worst was the ‘Caesar salad’ with thousand island dressing. This is the first ever restaurant review I have ever written and my worst experience in Pickering this far.

Bad staff and bad management. Went there a Few times for drinks and food, ordered a couple drinks after that cut off service. Food is good but the overall experience is not great! Needs a change up.
Poor service! Bad management!. I should write this restaurant off however the food was good. Service was terrible and it didn’t seem like they cared to do anything about. Dinner started off by being seated at a table that was reserved but without a sign and we were asked to move 5 minutes later. We were then seated by the entrance door with winter draft and were everyone stands when they come in waiting to be seated. Then we waited longer to find out if an empty booth was available. Crab cakes came cold and when we sent them back, we never seen them again. Side salad came as a full size salad. Charged for full size salad. Server thought he was doing something big for not charger for disappearing crab cakes. Never asked if we wanted another drink. Poor management!
Been there a couple times now. Great food and great staff and a fair price. It’s nice to have this pub in the neighborhood.
