I was in T Bay for work and Melizana was recommended by a coworker. Ambience was nice, service was great but food was pricy. I ordered a soup and chicken souvlaki entree and it worked out to be $32. The lemon soup was watery and tasteless. The garlic herb butter with bread was delicious. The Greek salad with their own dressing was great.

Awful food and poor service. Just came from lunch at Melizana and it was awful. That is both the food and the service. The greek salad was made with ICEBERG lettuce. I sent it back asking for romaine. The waiter disappeared and did not come back with another salad or an explanation. The pita bread that came with my order of pita and humus was greasy and tough. When the waiter finally returned with the bill (the salad was still on the bill) he said I should have the traditional greek salad next time as it does not have any lettuce in it. I asked that the salad be removed from the bill and in return got a lecture in which I was told that the kitchen had decided there was nothing wrong with the salad. After considerable arguing the waiter reluctantly adjusted the bill to remove the salad. Needless to say I will not be returning to this restaurant.
