It really is a shame About the terrible service. Food isn’t bad, but the servers are rude and the wait times are ridiculous. And if you try to complain to the manager you’ll see exactly how the staff get away with being arrogant jerks to the customers. It’s how they were trained!
Never Tried The Chinese But….. ..They have the worst pho I’ve ever tried. Warm clove water, at best.No idea what the rest of the menu is like, but it’s hard to screw up greasy Chinese.
Very bad service. My husband and I ordered food from them twice in one week and they got the order all mixed up. the firdt time we did not complain. The second time we were missing some of our food, phoned to ask them to bring the rest claimed they cannot for another hour. When I insisted to get it earlier since we only live 5 minutes away, the manager got mad and said that they will send the driver to pick up the food. Funny enough the driver got here in five minutes. They could not bring us the rest of the food on time but were able to pick it up in 5 minutes. I guess good customer service is not a prioroty. I ended up ordering from Eddy Lees, got the food on time and the right order. I waiting for my Master card statement, I hope they credited me. Very frustrating.
Best Vietnamese in Thunder Bay. Not only do they offer a great standard canadian chinese menu, they have a wicked vietnamese menu. i love the pho soup, especially the one with rare beef, beef belly, and beef balls. the vietnamese platter with the shrimp wrapped in sugar cane is fantastic. recently, they started offering vietnamese crepes loaded with bean sprouts, shrimp, pork, and chicken. love them! DON’T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR VIETNAMESE OTHER THAN HERE. Just saying, LOL
AWESOME. Best Chinese food in town. The staff is very friendly and answer all your questions.Love the spring rolls, egg rolls, honey garlic ribs!! There daily specials are awesome and usually you end up leaving some on your plate, its a large portion for a little price.Lunch hours are packed, that in itself tells you the food is great! I find it hard to believe the other comment below, Ive eaten at Oriental Gardens for the past 10 years, the place is simply the best in town, their rice is very good, the sauces perfect.All in all I would give Oriental Gardens a 10 out of 10!Keep up the good work and keep those awesome meals coming!Take out is great too!Good Value for what you pay for!
