Great steak. In from Winnipeg for work and a local had mentioned this steak house. Been to steak and rib joints all over the country and this place is one of the best! Highly recommend it to any if you fellow foodies.

Haven’t returned since our server, one of the owners family member told me we should have not brought our young child with us!

User reviews. Good not great. Go for the salad bar. I wouldn`t go out of my way to eat here, but if I really wanted a nice steak this would be near the top of my list.

We were in town for the week and everyone raved about The Prospector Steak House. It is a local restaurant, not a chain, so that was positive as well. All at my table had the Prospector Bones. You get 7 or 8 huge, very meaty Prime Rib bones. You can easily share this with two people. They were cooked just right and tasted great. For $27 it was worth the price. I didn’t even touch the sides which were nothing to speak of anyway. The salad bar is also lacking but to heck with the vegetarians, you are going there for meat. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely delicious and has been for years. Prime rib is amazing and the soup/salad bar is to die for. They make fresh buns, and when those come straight out of the oven, its truely a piece of heaven on earth. Garlic butter with the buns is where it’s at. Friendly atmosphere and staff.

My whole family went here for prime rib. They have a prime rib large enough to challenge my perpetually hungry teenage athlete son and one small enough for me. They were also fantastic a accommodating my daughters severe allergy. The salad bar is extensive and all-you-can-eat with the most wonderful, fresh, made on site buns you can imagine. The place always smells of freshly baked bread and the atmosphere is relaxed casual. The prices are notbad considering what you get Definitely one of my favorite places to go but be warned get there early on a Saturday night or expect a wait.

Very Good. All enjoyed our dinner here. there were 8 in the group and we had Prime Rib, Salmon or a steak………delicious. best prime rib we have ever tasted. Liked the beef juice for dipping asked for extra and it was brought immediately, the horseradish is yummy too. Buns were great and we liked th esoup and salad bar , not huge but just enough fresh items to make it a good start to the meal. Server brought out a nice piece of free birthday cake and servers sang happy birthday……All staff was very nice and helpfulm, will definetly go back.
