Unfortunately the name is nothing more than a name. None of the food had any noteworthy spice or seasoning. The Panko calamari was boring and the batter didn’t really stick to the calamari. The pork empanadas were good but more dough than meat. The worst was the ribs. They boil their meat and just slather on the sauce hoping no one noticed. They also couldn’t figure out the Guinness keg and after 20mins of waiting I asked for the barking squirrel of which they were out of as well. Rather disappointing.
Food was incredible! Had four dishes between the two of us and was more than enough food. Will definitely be back to try other dishes though! Sangrias were fantastic!
Cool, dark, sultry, delicious. Had the Tuesday 3 tapas + litre of sangria for $39, and all the tapas I picked fairly randomly were delicious. Chill music, helpful upbeat service.
Amazing Atmosphere, Food and Service. I came to Spice Lounge for a birthday celebration and it was beyond my expectations!!! The restaurant itself is cozy, with a romantic, sensual vibe….perfect for a date night or just for drinks and tapas with the girls!We all shared the Mushroom Flatbread, Pork Empanadas, the Meat and Cheese Boards (multiple!!), the Striploin, and the ribs. First thing’s first…the food is TO DIE FOR!!! The ribs just fell off the bone, the steak was cooked to an absolute perfection, and the rest of the food was mouthwatering!! I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants in Toronto, many of them with 5-star rating, and I’m telling you, the food at spice beats them all by a long-shot!!!Lastly, the staff was very attentive, but not pushy (and attractive, which helps!). My friends and I did not feel rushed, and our host for the evening was friendly and provided quick service.All in all, come out to Spice if you haven’t yet!!! I’m from Toronto and will DEFINITELY be making many more visits to this place!!!!!
Food was excellent. Highly recommend the smoked duck on flatbread. Half price Mondays. Worth three times as much. Will return without a doubt.
The best of Port Credit!. Delicious tapas with fantastic menu options. Everything is good, so you really can’t go wrong! Sangria is amazing, as is the shrimp. Bar staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Great atmosphere that is very cozy and warm. Perfect for a date or girls night out. Very reliable for a great evening!
Great service and food. I love the food here, and I’d definitely say it’s worth the price. The atmosphere is great and service is extremely friendly; I suggest to all.
