The service was slow. The place was filled with a thin layer of smoke as if they had recently burnt something on the grill. Odd individuals playing some sort of trivia game in the back. The food was extremely over priced and tasted mediocre at best. Highlight was the beer….I will not be heading back any time soon.
All the things you want in a pub, great food, simple & well made, friendly, efficient service & a very decent bar list. Bring the family or watch some sports – it’s all good.

Delicious Food & Great Service. The Brogue is a place that you can call your home away from home… the food is delicious – from the normal menu to the daily specials, you won’t be disappointed… the service is great and bar staff are fantastic… The restaurant has a lovely cozy feeling – making it a warm and inviting place to eat. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Port Credit or surrounding areas!
I’ve been to the Brogue many times now and I’ve never been disappointed – great service, great atmosphere, and a great menu. Nice twist on some typical pub favourites – their seafood bowl is especially delicious. Just as a heads -up, beer only comes in pints/bottles – no pitchers. Great for quieter evenings during the week, a little louder Friday/Saturday
Best Nachos I Ever Had!!!!. Enormous pile of chilly on top of crispy nachos swimming in melted cheese. One serving is good to make four adults full. I had chicken stuffed with goats cheese and figs, loved every peace of it. My friends enjoyed this restaurant too. Only complain I have is on time you wait for the food to arrive, we waited for about one hour, but OMG it was worth it.
