We were out for errands and a drive on Saturday afternoon and ended up in Port Credit at dinner time. This evening’s mission was to find a pub. As we drove along Lakeshore Blvd, we spotted the Brogue Inn, and it looked like it would fit the bill. SWMBO chose her favourite pub combination: A pont of Guinness and Fish & Chips (beer battered haddock). I wanted something a bit lighter to go with my cider, so I chose the Fresh Seafood Salad. Nicely sauted scallops, shrimp, calamari and artichoke hearts on top of bed of greens. The seafood was cooked just right. My only complaint is that there was a bit too much balsamic vinaigrette on the salad. Otherwise my needs and expectations were met.
