The raspberry cupcake wasn’t as tart as I expected. It was smoother and sweeter. There was a raspberry preserve type filling. The chocolate – it was a good chocolate cupcake, more on the dark choc side than milk chocolate. My 2nd fave.Cookies n cream was the winner. It had a light icing and moist cupcake. Not too sweet and not bland. I will try the salted caramel one when I go back.
Nice little place, not out of the ordinary. We kept it simple – two mini red velvets and two mini chocolate cupcakes. Both were great, not too sweet or creamy (the way I like it, since I’m not big on cream). herestomytwenties.com
Misrepresentation!!. My nephew has several food intolerances and after my sister called, and was told that they sell gluten free vegan cupcakes, she went to the bakery in Port Credit. While there, because the cupcakes looked liked regular cupcakes – vegan products tend to be smaller, my sister asked several times if they were sure that they were gluten free and vegan, and she was assured by 3 different people that they were? She purchased a dozen, and after eating one my nephew felt ill. My sister called the next day, and a manager confirmed that they were not vegan. My nephew can not have dairy or eggs. She told my sister she would refund her purchase and give her a dozen on the house. When she went to pick them up, she was met with rude employees who insisted there was a misunderstanding. And – no apology for the inconvenience was offered. Come on ladies, get it together. What if it was someone with a serious allergy? If you’re not sure, say that, don’t mislead customers. Poor service!
By far the BEST cupcake shop around! Yummy moist cupcakes with delish frosting piled high…the red velvet is crazy amazing!
