This place is ideal for people looking for Indian buffet with a decent spread. What attracts most about this place is the cost at which they provide the dishes which are both fresh and tasty,The service is also good.If you are looking for an high class ambiance, this is not the place. But if you are looking for veg and non veg options do visit this place.
FOOD:We had come here on a Friday evening at around 6:00 pm for the Buffet Dinner. While we were seated, we were asked which type of Naan Bread we would like (Garlic or Plain); we both settled on Plain. Once we had ordered our Naan Bread, we then proceeded to the buffet station, which consisted of two separate sections; one for cooked, hot items, and the other for uncooked, cold items. The cooked items consisted of many different options, such as a few types of Paneer, Butter Chicken, Rice, Tandoori Chicken, Samosas, and a few other options. The uncooked items consisted of vegetables, and some desserts.I found that the Butter Chicken was especially delicious as it contained just the perfect amount of spice (not too spicy for my liking), along with an excellent amount of creaminess to make it taste just right, with Rice or Naan. I also found all of the dishes to be hot (temperature-wise), and to taste fresh. I also liked how the food seemed to be replenished often, as opposed to sitting empty. In terms of the uncooked items however, I wasn’t too fond of the dessert as I didn’t find them to be too delicious, and the balls in sweet water were cold (I have tried them elsewhere and they were warm to hot). I also wasn’t too keen on the water served to us as it was served in a small glass, and was very warm (no ice was added to it). However, for the price that we had paid ($12.99/person), I found that we were given an ample amount of food, and it, for the most part, tasted good. ATMOSPHERE:This restaurant was quiet when we had arrived, with only two or three other tables filled with customers. The restaurant was a bit awkwardly-shaped as there were small wall-dividers between most of the tables, making it difficult to squeeze by certain tables in order to go up and get the food from the buffet. There were a few decorations on the wall however, the feel of the restaurant was not that of an Indian restaurant (e.g. on the washroom door, there was a picture of the Mona Lisa). SERVICE:When we had been seated, we were greeted by a young woman whom asked us what type of Naan Bread we would like. She then came throughout the meal periodically to collect our dishes and ask us if there was anything else that we needed. She did forget to bring me my water when I had asked however, she quickly apologized. I found that the service was somewhat attentive however, it was a bit difficult to get our server’s attention at times as she would sometimes disappear into the back and we wouldn’t know where she was for a period of time.COST:2 Adult Dinner Buffets ($12.99/person) = $29.35 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?I would definitely give this place another shot. The food was good (for the most part), and the price was even better! I would urge you all to try if you want to get some good Indian food at a reasonable price.
