I had been meaning to get here for a while and finally did so. We ordered the steak special. The cuts were extremely thick, which can be difficult to prepare throughout, without overdoing the outsides. There was no problem here, both our medium and medium rare requests were absolutely perfect. The seasonal vegetable sides were gently coated in an amazing sauce. I usually like to supplement my steaks with some kind of steak sauce, but the beef seasoning and sauce made that completely unnecessary. Generally when one visits this type of establishment the portions can be quite small. That was not the case for our visit. Main course portions were not the type where one sees more plate than food. Desert was savory cheese cake that melted in your mouth.Service was wonderful and paced perfectly. Our chef even made a table side visit after I marveled to our server how great my soup was. The ambiance was good, the acoustics of the restaurant meant the dinners in the loft area occasionally overcame the lower seating area, when a few of their group got a bit lout. That said it did not deter from our experience. Easy pour is not an inexpensive visit, our specials, soup, one desert and three glasses of wine ran about $150.00 with tip. That said, it is a wonderful treat, and I will definitely be back. munchingqueen.wordpress.com
