DISGUSTING FOOD & SERVICE (WILL NEVER ATTEND AGAIN)Upon arrival we waited in a cramped foyer with another couple. They were leaving because they were there for 15 without even a hi from anyone. We continued to wait then I finally asked someone to be seated. Incidentally, 10 minutes later we are seated in a tiny little place upstairs where we had to move ourselves because it was so cramped. At this point my boyfriend was irritated with the casual uncaring behavior of the server and wanted to leave. All the research he did were LIES! The picture are deceiving, giving the impression of a nice more posh environment. The reviews may be for some people but we had nothing close to decent edible food. Anyways, we stayed out of respect and waited another 30 minutes for a server to bring starter drinks. EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS DISGUSTING! The coffee was cold and had lots of grains inside, his smoothie was bland and white with no banana or strawberry inside. Then we order, I had a dried up waffle that was hard enough to hurt someone with, the chocolate spread on it was not Nutella as advertised but some cheap chocolate. My boyfriend got the tuna sandwich which had no tuna inside and no vegetables! We spent $50 dollars and it was robbery. We are frequent outside diners, we love all different foods and places and considering the reviews this place was nothing close to what we expected. We have been to some terrible food and restaurant experiences [even some with terrible servers] but we have never been so disregarded before. The food was just awful and the sad part was downstairs there were 14 females [supposed to be servers] who did nothing accept take our money as kept asking how was the food! Don’t waste your time and money, your better off at Tim Hortons!

This is the 2nd location of the popular BB Cafe in North York. I have so much faith in this cafe as I even recommend my friend to visit even before I have a chance to come here.It is a step up from their Original location. Nicer deco, More spacious and even more seating! Get the Persian Black Tea ($3). The presentation and the cute looking cup and teapot really enhanced my experience! Get the Rollet ($3.50). My Vanilla Pistachio roll was just so good. Get the Saffron and Rosewater Ice Cream ($3.50) to go. Oh so Creamy!OK, just get everything… they even have a whole cake!Free wifi access but seems there are not too many electric outlets on the ground floor. Free parking behind the building, the entrance is just south of the cafe.

Well Maintained Richmond Hill Cafe With Friendly Staff. E: I had initially driven to Williams Coffee Pub at Yonge & Elgin Mills only to find an abandoned store that likely has been so for several months. Admittedly, my last visit there was three years ago when a former friend and I had enjoyed a late night pastry, but as one of the few places to chat and get something past kiddys bedtime it was surprising to see how they had gone out of business. There is always Caffe Demetre near Yonge & Carrville of course, but before getting there I came across B.B. Caf.This cafs fare is made with care and a commitment to quality. Consistency will prove whether this statement stands the test of time or not, but the assertion stands if only based on tonights experience. I was merely in for a juice and hot chocolate, but ended up enjoying a crme caramel. It was quite good. The caf claims that all items are made freshly and from scratch and it did look like it. The dessert was delicious, tasty, yet not too sweet. Indeed, the touch of bitterness worked for me. The side of cream was the real McCoy too. The menu also offers a big coffee, Tea And Tisane and fresh juices selection. There are also food main dishes on the menu, like sandwiches and paninis, which occupy one page of the menu.-A: Nothing turns one off as much as dirt or a mess. On the other hand, the one thing that makes for a superior location is cleanliness and immaculate attention to details. B.B. Caf was faultlessly clean. The place is packed with fresh pastry, cakes and cookies yet did not come across as chaotic. The primary colours here are brown. It looks like the caf has a sole table with four chairs, but that is because a second floor is at the end of a stairway by the entrance. There were quite a few people ascending and descending. The music on the PA system was spanning the world. Only when the music went from Spanish to Italian to Iranian did it occur to me that the ownership is Iranian. The owner hails from Iran, one chef is from Singapore and others here are locally born. Perhaps the small menu section accorded to Persian Ice or the table with Iranian New Year sweets would have been another clue! The fireplace was an agent of ambiance, as well as heat.-T: This is not the caf to go to for fast food. The waitress-cum-manager will attend to you promptly enough and the bill too will arrive quickly, but ordering crme caramel, crepe, waffle or a dinner item will be at least ten minutes. They do make things freshly and from scratch. The shelves are lined with dry confectionary and the fridges are filled with cakes, pastry and puffs, but otherwise an order sends staff into deliberate preparation. Witnessing the chefs prepare my order, a waffle, pastry and even a latte from my vantage point made me appreciate the care they seem to put into their food. -S: The staff was nice and friendly. Everyone is uniformed in black. The waitress offered Butternut Squash soup as the days well, late nights – special. I ended up seeing a Crme Caramel on the menu and opted for it.The staff was accommodating and was happy to offer to add extras or two options/flavours, etc. for free when faced with customer indecision. Wi-Fi is offered as well.
