Such authentic and tasty sandwiches. I have tried pretty much all their sandwiches. The tongue is calf tongue with is very tender unlike other restaurants that use the cow tongue hence they have to shred it so you don’t realize how hard and chewy the meat is! One of the bests if not THE best in Toronto. Totally recommend it.
Very disappointing1. The owner who stands at the cash and touches the money also cooks; this needs to be reported since there is health and safety issue with this. You are not allowed to touch money and cook food at same time, this is against foot SAFETY by any mean2. The price has been increased a lot; I been there for 4 times and every time I had the tongue sandwich and every time I paid different amount (You can check their menu on the wall there is no price for the tongue since they constantly increase the price); PLEASE DO NOT TRICK THE CUSTOMERS3. The taste was very disappointing, the owner asked me if I want gosfand or goosaleh tongue sandwich and I said goosaleh he charged me 15 dollars plus tax which is already expensive for a sandwich, but he provided me with cow tongue which had bad smell and chewy and not tasty. I also mentioned to him that I been there before and the quality of the meat had been declined and he said he had changed the meat. Whats going on? YOU ARE FOOLING the CUSTOMERS. For 17 dollars I expect to get high quality meat and not old chewy smelly tongue.
