I had been to Cyan before, food is okay, shisha is okay, atmosphere is okay. Overall this used to be an okay establishment, however the last 2 times that I’ve been there have been awful.Staff are extremely RUDE! We drove an hour to get there, we had called a few times and no one answered. We get there and it took the host 10 minutes to come and talk to us, he said there was no room and they were waiting for reservations. One of the reservations was an hour away, we said we wouldn’t stay long but the guy was very rude and raised his voice and said there’s no room.Absolutely ridiculous! I understand when restaurants have no space but please be respectful to your patrons. I will not go back out of principal because every time I have gone; staff have been extremely rude.
You walk into this place and its almost like walking into a high school cafeteria. You can visibly see that half their clientele are underage teenagers, so clearly they serve both hookahs and alcohol to minors. All that aside, their staff is ridiculously rude. We had to wait in the front for 15 min before anyone approached us, and when one of the 12 of us who is visibly over the age of 25 let alone 19 forgot her ID, the manager refused to let us in (they also only decided to ID 3 people in a group of 12). I have no idea how they even managed to attain a liquor license. my advice? There are so many hookah lounges in the area, choose somewhere else to go.
