this place used to be a good spot to get Persian food and groceries when it first opened up. Unfortunately the staff are extremely rude and treat the customers with no respect I have even seen them yell at each other constantly . I left my plate on my table and not to the return counter when I was finished eating accidentally I was chased by two women to my car while they were screaming and demanding I come back to clean the table as they are not McDonalds. Unfortunately even McDonalds employees dont treat you like this. There food quality has gone down and the way you are treated is shameful. Stay away there are many Persian restaurants and grocery stores in Richmond hill that will be glad you go there.

Average Iranian Take-out Food. E: What can one expect from a store that also serves food? Not much. Given that, the food was average. Typically, one would do well to stay clear of outlets where the meals are either secondary or a side-show, but someone had suggested this store as new and so it ended up being a take-out Sunday lunch. The chelo kabob (rice and kabob) contained a skewer of barg (typically a tenderloin or sirloin) and a koobideh (spiced and massaged minced meat with onion). The rice was average to good for such a place. There was also plenty of it. The koobideh was good and not greasy. The barg was slightly off. It had a… taste. They had spiced it with something I just couldnt place. Typically the barg may have pepper and, pushing it, sumac, but this was something else. All in all, it was not bad by any means. It was not recommended either. They have lamb (chengeh) and chicken (joojeh) kabobs, stews and desserts. Taftan and Kako further down Yonge would offer the same food for a little more money and a little more dependability. Shishlix, Friends and Persian Palace the latter being across the street are bona fide restaurants serving the cuisine. As a bonus, since this is a supermarket, one can buy all sorts of drinks. The traditional doogh, which is carbonated or uncarbonated yogurt and water, was available aplenty. To the best of my knowledge Iranians drink the carbonated version typically when eating chelo kabob at restaurants, while the flat version is mixed and drunk at home although the latter is available outside as well. The grilled tomato, sumac and butter necessary add-ons for chelo kabob not to mention that fast overlooked raw eggs, which is never free were complimentary and, as always, included.-A: It is a supermarket filled with imported Iranian bottles, jars, bags and fridges filled with pastry. Interior decoration here is courtesy of Iranian-supermarkets-r-us.-T: We live in strip plaza country a.k.a. the blot of humankind and in one sits Daryani. Parking should be available as much as any other plaza. The meal is not cooked-to-order and is readily sitting under the heat lamps under glass. And Thou Shalt Not Wait Oh Thee Purveyor Of Iranian Food. The cashier is behind you, added mythical figure known as Moses (this time in contemporary English).-S: Service? Did I tell you it is a supermarket? Have I? Did I mention it? Oh OK!Under the stuff category one could wonder what Daryani means? Hmmm no clue. This was another review belatedly written. Hopefully, it does the meal justice.
