Friday night- quite busy. The atmosphere is awesome. Great decor. The live music is great. We had beef quesadillas, fish tacos, calamari, margaritas and a mojito. The food and drinks have a lot of room for improvement. I would give them a chance to make improvements in the kitchen and bar since they are so new and would go back for beer and nachos. Really hope they will do well.

The food was okay, but I had the shrimp taco and when they brought my shrimp were blue. I ask what it was and they keep saying it was cabbage but it wasnt. Then they brought the chicken wings. They said it was a big portion cause I was 5 people and when they served it, it was so small so guys dont go there it was terrible they also mixed up the order for my sister food.

2017/10/09Richmond Hill has a new Mexican restaurant. El Bocho opened about a month ago, and we just happened to notice it as we were driving by. We are always interested in trying out Mexican restaurants, so in we went for a bite of lunch. It was a holiday Monday, and things were slow, so we were the only ones there when we arrived shortly before 1 pm. A green VW Beetle is featured on their menu and on their walls (inside and out), so I asked our server about the name El Bocho, and sure enough, that is the Mexican nickname for the Beetle.SWMBO ordered the Enchiladas with Pastor ($13.50). Other choices were chicken, beef, veggies, steak, fish, shrimp, all at the same price. She chose the mild Green sauce. Other choices were hot Red and spicy Aztec. The dish was served with three corn tortillas, stuffed with grilled pork, smothered with the green sauce. On the side of the plate was a colourful salad, with shredded lettuce, topped with shredded purple cabbage and some julienned carrots. The pork was tender and tasty; SWMBO liked her dish.I chose the BurritoMojado with Chicken and the mild Green sauce. I had the same choices for fillings and sauce that SWMBO did. The flour tortilla was loaded with tender chicken, rice, and beans. Pretty good and hefty burrito.Service was polite and fast (expected, given that only one other table was occupied after we arrived).
