Was there for lunch today since it was soooo cold and we wanted to one, have underground parking and two, eat something warming. I had the beef pho (cooked beef brisket) and it was very good. Soup wasn’t overly salty, meat was tender, and the portion was good for the price (large was $8.50) – I couldn’t finish it. They also serve roti and curries and I was tempted to get it but, my usual first dish at a Vietnamese place I’ve never been to is the beef pho so the curry will have to wait for another day. Service was quick and courteous. scribblesintoronto.blogspot.com
I like to come here sometimes for a quick meal. You get seated quickly because they serve the food quickly and people never stay for too long. My usual is a small order of their House Special Beef Pho. Although the broth is on the salty side, the food is super affordable and sometimes you just wanna fill your belly quick with something warm and satisfying. This place definitely does that for me.
Just wonder-pho. When I want pho, I always come here to get my fix. Besides the pho, the spring rolls are also very good and the lamb curry is very flavourful. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area! sincerelykn.blogspot.com
Yum yum yum. Just moved here to Richmond hill and its the best pho place i’ve been to yet!
Awful Experience!. Literally the worst dining experience ever.I went there with my mom and sister for lunch. We ordered 2 things from their cold drinks list and 3 noodle soups. The red bean drink– I think I was drinking sugar water. And the red beans were not soft at all like they should be.The noodle soups– we tried the assorted beef noodle soup, the Laksa noodle soup and the Tom Yum noodle soup. The beef and Tom Yum soup bases were so ridiculously salty that we could not finish it. We’ve definitely had better Laksa as well. The service was also not friendly. As well asked for the bill, they cleaned away all our food and utensils without asking if we were done, as if they really wanted us to leave asap. All in all, our bill came out be be just over $30, although not worth the money. So we gave a smaller than usually tip. However, as we were leaving, the waitress rudely grabbed me by the shoulder and shoved the bill tray in my hand saying that I did not pay enough tip. Before I could even explain our dissatisfaction, she walked away. I was so shocked at her attitude, but I did not want to make a scene so I paid the undeserving tip and before I knew it, she came back, grabbed the bill tray from my hand and walked away without a thank-you.I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone!!!
Bland. Walked this restaurant many times so I decided to try it last week. The food is bland. Portions are decent however. Will not go back.
Price Increase. Their prices went up and the food quality and portions are subpar. Expect to pay above average for beef noodle soup/curry if you eat here.
