After some badminton at a nearby club, it was time to chow down. My friend pointed us here for some Vietnamese food. This place was packed and looked like a set of an old martial arts movie. There were lots of other choices to choose from in this foodie mall but we endured until our number lucky 28 was called. It’s by no means upscale dining as I was really looking forward to diving or kung fu kicking someone outside of one of the window openings. One of our friends is vegetarian so we found him a veggie roti and a Chinese broccoli with garlic stir fry dish. However, the waitress noted that they had sold out ALL veggies for that night. Strange response but true. We ended up ordering a plain pad thai for him with sprouts and peanut shavings. I ordered their Spicy Thai beef noodle. I thought the broth was too salty and there wasn’t enough items in the noodles besides beef and tripe. The roti and pad thai was fine sans meat. They got one of my other friends’ order incorrect putting in beef instead of chicken. Overall, it was not worth the wait.
