Visited on weekend. Food was simply amazing. Great service. I always order the fajita my wife had the burrito and Kids ordered tacos and quesadilla. drinks are excellent. We had a mango bulldog and a watermelon Margarita. Enjoyed the live music on weekend.
Thank god I didn’t bring my wife who is Mexican to eat there she had to work or she would of killed me there was nothing in there that was anything close to tasting like Mexican food. Nothing was fresh even the waitress told me the chicken in my enchiladas was from the day before. Chef Ramsey would tear this place apart. Lol. Please get some real chefs in there that know Mexican food. The ginger ale was ok
I really enjoyed my dinner here. I also love the fact that they have sour cream and salsa to use at your own discretion. Food was great along with service.
Apparently it was a busy night at Mexican Amigos. We did have to wait a while before we were finally served, but when we were served, things went smoothly from there. SWMBO opted for the Enchiladas. We have been to Mexican Amigos before, and she said the enchiladas were very good, and better than our previous visits. I selected the Fajitas with Portobello Mushrooms. I believe they added a chipotle seasoning, which gave the fajitas a nice, smokey kick. Whatever they did to the black beans also gave them some pleasant heat. One minor negative: serving the fajitas on a cafeteria tray? Really? I know it is casual dining, but that was a bit too casual. At the end of our meal the server apologized for the slow start, saying that it had been a busy night. So it wasn’t just us feeling ignored. 🙂

The food was not bad at best. It took a very long time to arrive, despite the restaraunt only having one other table full at lunch. Service was somewhat absent. Would have been a better experience if the beer ordered with lunch wasn’t tainted by a horrible skunky taste. Three different brands of beer, all with that taste. Clean the taps! It was disgusting. Server didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. Really it could have been a decent place/food experience, but wasn’t because of the lack of basic effort put in by those who run it.
