The food, service and ambiance could all improve. I had sushi, miso soup and tempura. Sushi rice was packed too hard and had no flavor. Miso soup was salty. Tempura was sticky. No smile or welcoming words as you enter the restaurant. Unflattering lighting highlights the sad dining furniture. Not sure what happened to this place. Too bad.
Other reviews are misleading. I read the reviews before ordering and they all seemed pretty good & the rating was also a good sign. I ordered the Green Dragon Roll, Dynamite Roll and the Chicken Teriyaki Roll. Out of all the sushi places I’ve been to, I have absolutely never had sushi that tasted so dry, flavourless, and old tasting. Everytime I eat sushi, I order more than I should and consume more that I should because I just can’t get enough of sushi! Not the case here. I cannot even finish my sushi because it tastes so horrible! I recommend only going to eat here if it is the absolute last choice.
