Awful! Will NOT return.. This was my first time eating at a Montana’s and I will NEVER go back. My family and I dine out very frequently, and are easy going people, but I have never had a worse experience. Hubby and I shared the Kapow Shrimp appetizer, and it was very mediocre. Just nothing special, and some of the shrimp was all clumped together. But the worst was my main course. I’m not a big meat eater (we only went here so hubby could enjoy some ribs), so I ordered the Bacon Mac n Cheese with Chorizo Sauasage. It was completely inedible. The sauce had a terrible highly artificial taste to it, I’ve never had anything like it. I’m someone who will happily eat Kraft Dinner occasionally, and I still couldn’t eat more than half of my meal, which says it all! We were also blown away by the astronomical bill. $73 for 2 main courses, 1 appetizer, and 1 kids meal. The only drink was a pop as I just had water. All that money and I left hungry! The only time we’ve paid so much for a meal is at Red Lobster, which is at least delicious and filling. Will not be a repeat customer, what an expensive mistake it was to go here.
Great food, great service. I love coming here with my family. Great family restaurant with friendly wait staff, who always treat you like someone of significance. Lots of character and really great food. Never takes us long to be seated even though its usually busy at night. I highly recommend enjoying a dinner here before catching a movie next door.
Best BBQ in Richmond Hill. As a regular of the Southern/BBQ cuisine, this Montana’s is exceptionally good. I have noticed a lack of this style of cuisine in Toronto in general and Montana’s is doing a great job of filling this void. I am a regular of this Montana’s location- My favourites are the BBQ chicken, pork Ribs and the pulled pork sandwich.
Popped in for a quick bite before a movie and everything was fast and we were out within 50 mins… I’d go back
I was there on Saturday night with a friend and I must say the service was outstanding. We were seated promptly, with a waiting time under 5 minute. Our server was pleasant and helpful. What truly impressed me was that when our server was busy, 2 other servers came by separately and helped, first clearing away the dirty dishes, then with getting our bill. One of the waitress even came back to make sure our server did come by. And when there was a confusion on the bill, after we explained our thoughts, our server simply took it to his manager and resolved it in our favour without a fuss. All in all it was a very pleasant dining experience
Old childhood Favourite. As a child i loved eating here. Yes its nice on the patio.Yes the food was awesome. But then i grew up and when i went back recently the nachos weren’t dressed all the way through you reach the bottom and you say wheres the cheese. The ribs have lost a lot of flavor from what i remember.Though they only thing they have going for them is the firecracker burger, All in all if I’m really hungry and around a Montana’s at least i can still get a good burger.
