2018/02/10We didnt want to venture too far away from home, and we werent feeling too adventurous, so we chose to go to Montanas for dinner. We have been here a few times over the years. In general the food and the service are good here. This evening SWMBO decided to try their Chicken Tacos. She got two really loaded tortillas, with lots of lettuce and a good portion of chicken. A bit messy eating, but they did provide wet wipes at the table. I opted for the Chipotle Firecracker Burger, which is one of my favourite dishes at Montanas. Piled high with onion straws for crispness, and deep-fried, battered jalapeos for some firecracker heat. Both of us ordered a salad as our side. As I got to the bottom of my dish, I noticed that there was way too much balsamic dressing. Then SWMBO saw that she had more than twice what I had. She had to tilt her dish on an angle to let most of the dressing drain away. We let our server know. He came back a few minutes later, and told us they had someone very new in the kitchen. The good news is we may have saved future diners from a similar fate.

This Montana’s is very unprofessional. There is no sense of directions from the staff. When I first walked in 3 people in 30 mins of me being there were already complaining about something. I should have walked out there and than !!!!
