2018/04/25When a new restaurants open, sometimes they go through growing pains, and not everything goes as it should. This review reflects our experience in April. Hopefully they have gotten better since then.We decided to try the new Mr Greek in Richmond Hill. We pass by this area often, and had noticed that the restaurant was finally open. Everything was new and fresh, and the decor was what I would call typical Mr Greek. This is a full service location, with table service, and not one of the Express locations with just counter service.SWMBO ordered the Classic Souvlaki with Chicken, which came with a small Greek Salad, and she chose Rice as her side. Nicely seasoned and grilled chicken, and it tasted good.I chose the Moussaka, which also came with a small Greek Salad, and I asked for Grilled Veggies as my side. The first problem was that the veggies were lukewarm. Coincidently the manager arrived and asked how things were, and I mentioned the lukewarm veggies. He offered to do something about it, but I let it go. After that I noticed that my portion of veggies was very large, and I was missing my salad. It took a while for our server to come back to our table, and I pointed out the issue. She said that it was her mistake, shrugged, and walked away.By the way, the Moussaka itself was pretty good.
