Food was good. Chicken was the star. Pleasant Staff. Good Price. The music is relaxing and the decor is simple but charming. Happy to say their ads in the parking lot drew me in, will hit up again. The Iranian stew smelled good.
I really like this place because we dropped in in a jiffy and for $9 they had a warm plate of rice and tasty kobobs and sides including pop. It was tasty and there was certainly a lot of it. Clean and nice place I would go back
Clean your tables, it is disgusting to eat food.
Good sit down meal if you are shopping at No Frills in the plaza. You can actually have a meal of kabab and rice with the fixins for the price of a mcdonalds combo here. It is delicious.
Great restaurant. I always get takeout from this place and they have fast and friendly service! The food tastes amazing. Highly recommended
Always fresh, perfectly marinaded, and they have a Tandoori spice option too. All of our family and friends go here exclusively now.
Chelokabob In Richmond Hill. E: There is no shortage of Iranian restaurants in that area and to the list one can add the latest chelokaboby, Pardis. The restaurant serves up the chelo kabob staples. Typically, restaurants begin well and deteriorate overtime, but for now Pardis is serving the Iranian staple of chelokabob (rice and meat skewers) well. My order of chelokabobe koobideh was good. It was even better at $7. The rice was fluffy and tasty. The kabob was right and not too short or stingy. The grilled tomato – the downfall of so many similar establishments – was not grilled enough. Moreover, it was sour. I could only mix in half of it. A sign on the door offers a Falafel sandwich for $4.50, which takes them into Arabic realms. Presumably, they are trying to attract a certain type of walk-in clientele. One last things about the food: meals are available with French Fries! Who eats rice and kabob with fries?! To make matters funnier, the regular plates without the deep fried potato kind are in the ‘traditional’ section of the menu.-A: This is your typical inexpensive no-frills Iranian restaurant serving a few diners inside and folk taking food out. It is new and clean. A few Iranian decorative pieces line the walls; otherwise it is a Spartan motif. They have avoided placing a drinks’ fridge in the dining area. Finally, someone has figured out this simple move adds a notch to any eatery’s class. The restaurant is located in a plaza at Yonge & 16th and replaces a closed Quizno’s.-T: The restaurant is not too quick with its offering possible not being surefooted yet given how it opened a few months earlier. On the plus side, the plaza offers adequate parking if one can put as much distance between oneself and No Frills (good advice in any context this!).Pardis is open for business daily for lunch and dinner, but lunch is offered only after 12:00 on Sundays.-S: The restaurant is getting its footing right now, but the dishes are flowing fine. They are in the same class and area as Tafton, Kako, Kish, Daryani et al and one wishes them success. Shandiz, further north on Yonge, however closed down recently so demand might have peaked. For now Pardis is serving its Chelo kabob koobideh for $1 less than the aforementioned competition.
