2019/04/12Restoran Malaysia was bigger and fancier than we thought it would be. We have passed it many times, but this time we went in for lunch. The murals, the artwork, the fish tanks, and the tasteful decor added to the ambiance, and there was spacious seating for at least 100 split in two dining areas. Although the restaurant was less than half full at lunchtime, there were still quite a few diners. We stayed with the lunch menu, where all 10 items were under $10. The main menu had dishes that were mostly $16 and higher. SWMBO had the Pad Thai ($9), which came with chicken and shrimp. Sweet, sour, tasty. The portion was large enough that she took some home. I chose the Malay Curry Chicken ($8.5). Thin slices of white meat cooked in a Malay Curry sauce. Enough heat to bring a mild sweat to my brow, but not too much. Service was fast and friendly.
