Absolute garbage. Went for takeout. Staff is rude and no flexibility in substituting items. Pad Thai has no taste and I got maybe 5 tiny frozen shrimps. No sauce or anything. I don’t even know what the soup of the day was. Had to taste at all so I just threw it out. Don’t go here.

This restaurant was our go-to fancy dinner restaurant when I was a kid. We went for the curry crab and their wonderful soft bread with a crunchy crust. I hadn’t been in many years and decided to go back for lunch. It was my first time having their lunch menu. I was very disappointed. Even the yellow curry sauce wasn’t what I remembered. I think it’s pretty standard in terms of mediocre vietnamese food and poor thai food. cookingwithalison.com

I came here with a group of friends to try out their highly decorated Curry Crab. It was packed by the time 7pm came along. Luckily, one of my friends were able to secure a table for four in the corner. It was a little tight but at least no one could see you bury your face in the crab. It’s one of the more challenging dishes to eat as your hands, face, and clothes can end up with pieces of crab and/or curry. The french bread and bowls of rice really complimented the curry. It was really yummy with a bottle of Canadian to boot. One of my friends snapped off a piece and ended up with it on his shirt! It is seasonable pricing for the Curry Crab and tonight was $65 for one crab. It was really delicious but I thought the waitress was kind of hustling us in to ordering other expensive seafood dishes such as mussels and big headed prawns at a seasonable price. We tried their big headed prawns and I did not think it was that great. We also ordered their beef ribs and a side of Gai Lan veggies. They were fabulous and only added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The legend of their Curry Crab lives on.

From what I heard, portion sizes used to be bigger for the crab curry… But when I went… There was less curry and it got more expensive. Their lamb was on point tho, would definitely recommend anyone to try that. I however did not find this Vietnamese restaurant too appealing… Food was way over priced ($64 for one curry crab?!) and the people working were definitely trying to rush us out. Food is mediocre.

Overpriced. First off, I’ll say the service here is great. All staff is courteous and efficient which made the experience pleasant. The food was good, I especially enjoyed the pineapple rice which was not only flavourful but had a great presentation. I wasn’t big on the curry crab. It was way overpriced and wasn’t very enjoyable. While the meal was decent, the menu prices exceed its quality and should be adjusted otherwise there are plenty of authentic Asian options with a bigger bang for your buck.

Again, Big name bad food. Busy place, but I don’t understand why?I’ve tried this place twice, each one worse than the other.Curry crap: the first time was cooked el dente, but bland.Second time was worse: no flavor and over cooked.Fried coconut shrimp was cold and soggyTheir famous pineapple rice: It was soggy, bland and they used canned pineapple. To top it all off, they re-used the friggin pineapple it’s served in!! I asked to see the manager the second time I was there because the food was so bad. Waited 20 min, he showed up after I paid the bill and was leaving.Washrooms are scary, Recommend to worst enemies with deeeeep pockets.
