Not usually one to write a bad review, but this experience has been very disappointing for me as someone who has been ordering from Sapporo for years and always loved it, as they serve fresh fish and great prices for the portions. The double dragon bento is my usual go-to. However, the last time I ordered from here was extremely disappointing. I got pick up, came home and opened the box only to see a black dragon roll with barely any eel on top (see photo for reference). When I went to try a piece, it fell apart completely as the rice was barely sticky. The red dragon roll also fell apart when I picked up a piece. I’m hoping this is a one-off and doesn’t become a pattern, or perhaps they’ve changed ownership or have hired a new chef.

I thought it was very well done for the inexpensive price you’re paying for. The sashimi in the chirashi don was very fresh and it had a nice variety. The chirashi don came with free miso soup and dessert (either green tea ice cream or Yakult type drink) which we didn’t expect. The waiter and waitress were both very nice and polite. I would definitely come here again to try their other menu options.

AMAZING. This small and hidden sushi restaurant often slipped my eyes as it didn’t seem like any place special from the outside. To my surprise it has been absolutely delicious every single time I’ve been there. The sushi is always fresh and the staff are always so friendly. The price for sushi here is also pretty great for the quality. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a not so formal and fast sushi meal.
Good sushi, but not the best. However, it’s great value and the best bang for the buck outside of an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant.
