Went for an office lunch after hearing good reviews from a colleague and was happy for the choice.Ambiance- Lovely decor. The Christmas decorations added to the charm Service- The servers were attentive, polite and charming and explained the concept well when they heard that we hadn’t been there before. Even though it was a very busy day, they kept checking on us at regular intervals and the food kept coming at a steady pace.Food- Food was the best part though. The variety of salads was mind blowing and everything was delicious. I don’t remember when was the last time I binged on salad…Umm never! But I did here! The meats were delicious and done to perfection.I loved it overall.

Brazilian BBQ isn’t a cheap meal. But it IS unique, fun, and very good. Touro is a great place for Brazilian but I personally would give the edge to Copacabana as I prefer the way they prepare certain things. At the very least Touro is worth a visit to compare. Who knows, you might prefer it.

One of the best Brazilian steakhouses in Ontario. From the food to the decor the restaurant immerses you in for an experience of your senses. Many cuts of meat as well as a buffet bar that can fill your need for for salads and other sides. Great experience will return.

For meat lovers everywhere, the meat is truly excellent! Sirloin, garlic beef, lamb, pork, chicken, all Brazilian Style cut and prepared. I recommend the beef overall, but its all you can eat, so try them all. The sides are buffet style and just average, but you don’t come here for that anyway. If the sides buffet was better, and the service more attentive for the price, I would have given a higher score. But you wont be disappointed!

**************FRUIT FLIES in the salad bar.**********************I did a lot of research before going to this Brazilian steak restaurant. The price was high, but I was fine with it as long as they had good food.So I took my family to this restaurant. While I was at your salad bar, I saw a number of fruit flies flying around your food.It was disgusting.I told one of your staff at the salad bar about it,but he just threw away a small portion of the plate, and didn’t throwing away the whole plate in the garbage.Funny thing was, because it was very sticky,he removed the portion by dropping tap water directly on the plate. He didn’t think it was a big deal.So I had to talk to your restaurant manager, Richard, about it.He also said it wasn’t a big deal, and fruit flies were there, because it was zucchini salad. Are you kidding me?I’ve been to many cheap buffet that costs fraction of your price, and have never encountered fruit flies.I have never seen a restaurant manager react that way about food safety issues. He was very unprofessional on how to deal with this issue, and should have never been in charge of your restaurant. This was unacceptable, and I was very embarrassed that I brought my friends and families to your restaurant.I emailed the general manager, Rob about the incident, because I thought the upper management was better.I was very very wrong. He stated on the email that they are working hard to combat fruit flies, but said it was almost impossible to get rid of them. HAHA. He also generalized the incident by saying that fruit flies are a common problem in all restaurants. He agreed to give me full refund. So I told him the transaction date and my name and waited over a month for update.Nothing.When I finally contacted him again, he changed his mind, and said he wasn’t going to issue me refund.Rob did this on purpose to make me wait this long. This restaurant including the management is DISGUSTING.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE.

The appetizers of puffed parmesan, fried banana fritters and yam were quite good. They definitely whet our appetite. But when we headed to the buffet area for the appetizers, I would have to say that I was quite unimpressed. Rodeo wins hands down for this. Rodeo had super tasty shrimp and mussels (which we ate too much of!) and the variety of salads was wider. In Touro, there were quite a lot of fillers– mashed potatoes, potato salad, breads. There were also blah cold cuts, cold seafood salad (not so tasty), and broccoli soup. But we did not come here for the appetizers, we came for meat, so I was willing to overlook that parta little. That night, they served 12 cuts of meat. Among those we had were: Picanha,Top Sirloin, Prime Rib, Chicken breast Wrapped in Bacon, Lamb Leg, and parmesan-covered Meat Ball. We skipped on the sausages, pork loin and chicken wings (yes, hard to believe, but I did skip this! I had to ensure I had enough space for the other cuts, you know!). The meat was well-cooked (medium rare to medium) and nicely seasoned. The chimichurri sauce, however, was not that great. I have a better bottled chimichurri at home! Hubby and I especially loved the Picanha (a cut of beef popular in Brazil, known here as rump cap). After the first round, this was the only cut we were requesting for! Then, they started serving the roasted pineapple. This was really divine. The pineapple perfectly complemented the meats and was good to have in between as well, not just dessert. I think this made it easier for us to eat more since it provided a nice break from meat. wanderlustingmama.blogspot.com

It’s hard to rate this place because there are two aspects… The FOOD and the COST. $49.99 for one adult dinner is hard to justify..,yes the staff and food were good…but $130 total for 2 people to eat ONE meal? Not again. The only reason why we came was to celebrate a friend’s birthday party. If I were rich I could understand..otherwise no thanks.
