It was ok. I liked the tempura a lot. The sushi was good, I ate it, and I am picky. But, you know, not Vegas or Vancouver or Tokyo sushi. I would return and I’d be happy. The service was very good.
Confused about listing. Why is this listed Gluten Free Friendly?. I called this place for the first time looking for Gluten Free and Vegan menu options. They did not have a clue as to what I was talking about. What’s up?I also noticed no specific items on their online menu. If this restaurant is catering to GF and Vegan clients they need to do much better.Signed.SMH 🙂
Pretty good – watch out for shrimp tempura. I really like this place but after ordering their mixed tempura three times, all three times the shrimp were not deveined. Just something to be aware of if it’s a dealbreaker for you. (I know some folks don’t mind it.)Otherwise, everything I’ve had here is great.
Not bad at all. Very decent sushi, if a little pricey… but they started us off with a free miso soup and ended us off with some free chocolate covered strawberries, which was an excellent touch! Very friendly.
New Location. The food was great as usual. Services was very friendly and courteous. This new location has more seatings and the patio was private and quiet. But needs more Japanese ambience. Other than that, we always have great time there!!!
No good go to Sushi 67. I agree fully with the comment above. Everything about Vincent Sushi is mediocre at best. They tried to trick me by giving me a California roll instead of the sushi I ordered with my 6 piece sushi and tempura bento box (which was way overpriced). When I brought it up they wouldn’t let me see the menu because they knew they were skimping me. When I insisted the waitress obviously admitted I was right and told the kitchen. I then saw the chef get angry which made us feel ripped off. It was ridiculous. After this even if the food was mediocre to us it was some of the worst i have ever had. Afterward we walked down Roncesvalles and found sushi 67. It was the day before they opened. They welcomed us in to talk and invited us for free soup the next day for their soft opening. They told us we were their first customers 🙂 We have Since tried everything on the menu. Nothing has come short of amazing. I strongly recommend the Salads, the Ronces-Roll and the Vietnam-Roll. The people running 67 Sushi are some of the friendliest people i have met while dining out on top of the amazing food. This place is truly a gem!The only downfall is the extremely limited seating (8 or so people). However i see this as an advantage as they are able to focus on making amazing food. They also seem to keep busy with takeout all night long. The owner even delivers food in a kimono!! 67 sushi all the way!!!
Mediocre. We went to their new, bigger location and they seemed to have lost all their charm. The sushi was mediocre at best. Too bad. If you want fantastic sushi, go to Sushi 67 in their old location.
