Beautiful, ever rotating confitures. Would recommend the Banana Bourbon and vanilla bean. Their strawberry raspberry cream is my go to when I want to pretend I’m eating my granny’s homemade jam.
Came here for afternoon tea with a friend, and had to wait for around 30 mins since the seats are limited! (only two tables in there). I’ve already heard about Kitten and the Bear back in Montreal, since they supply their jams to one of the local cafes here. So excited to visit the store when I was in Toronto, and try out more of their jams! The scones were perfect as well. Left with two jars of jam! 😛 Would definitely recommend this place for a girls afternoon tea/catchup time 🙂 eatwitheva.com
Came here for a light brunch with friends, and I highly recommend that you show up early since there isn’t exactly many seats. You’ll have a window seat and a couple others scattered throughout the place. But this place definitely is not created for a full-on sit-down style restaurant. They mainly serve teas and coffees, but also have deliciously wonderful jams as well. They pride themselves as a jammery (I hope that that’s a word!) and definitely do it well.I had the afternoon tea with a couple of friends, and it was served with scones and 3 different types of jams. I can’t quite remember the tea that we had, but I do remember that it was a white base that tasted absolutely heavenly. If you’re there to enjoy a meal, be ready to spend at least $15-20.The owners are extremely lovely and were very open to us taking photos while we were there. The decor is very delicate looking and whimsical, and had us wanting to stay there longer then we could.Their scones are fluffy and freshly made to order and paired amazing well with the jams and clotted cream. If you get a chance to try their banana jam, I’d highly recommend it. I plan on going back in the near future when it gets warmer to grab myself a couple jars of jam
One of my all time favourites!. I went to this place after seeing pictures on instagram, although its a small place its very cozy and the owners/staff are so polite and happy. I was very satisfied with the amazing service, delicous scones and jams as well the yummy cup of hot tea that I ordered. I even bought a tin to take home (because I loved it so much). Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I am definitely going back 🙂
